Will graphic cards return to normal prices and why it's so expensive?
Of course, the technology world is so big, wide and has a lot of surprises and today our subject is about Graphic cards and why it's expensive like that and will it return to the normal price soon or not? like we all know that most of GPU (Graphic Cards) are more expensive than CPU (Processor), so what makes GPU so expensive like that?
My opinion that you all should buy the graphic cards you wanted before it's too late, I think that GPUs are so expensive like that because of the worldwide GPU shortage and they’ve all been bought up and either dedicated to mining or scalped onwards. You almost certainly won’t be able to find one direct from retailers. The ones you can find are largely restricted to resellers on Amazon and Ebay, with prices so expensive hiked to reflect the requests.
For information, let's take an example of the price of GTX 1060 in Jun 2017 was about 290$ and now guess what it's about 434$ it's like the double price how is that be possible just from 8 months about 150$ is lower.
The primary reason for all this is, like I said, crypto-mining, a craze so pervasive that even UNICEF is getting into it. However, the worldwide shortage of fast RAM now for graphics cards and systems alike is further compounding the problem. It's not looking like that will change the price anytime soon. let's take an onother example of the difference between GPU and CPU prices, We're going to take the prices of the best GPU and CPU, the price of Intel 8th Gen Core i7-8700K is 333$ and GTX 1080 Ti is 1099$, Can you imagine the difference here and the massive price.
Actually, it's hard to get GTX 1080 Ti so I put the prices of the things I mentioned and available to buy down below.
