2 New maps are on the way to PUBG, As well as new vehicles and weapons

PlayerUnknown's Battlegrounds is getting a massive overhaul, Bluehole has announced a massive overhaul coming to PUBG including the addition of 2 new maps, new weapons and emotes which will all be rolled out over the next several months.

2 new maps will be added to the game. One will be the previously announced Mediterranean coastline map and the other will be half the size of all the others. The map will be just 4X4KM in size, so will make for more intense and faster games which is something fans of the game have wanted since the game's release and this map is expected to roll out within the next several months.

Other new features include in-game emotes that will be available soon on the test servers with more emotes being added to the game throughout the year.

The game will also see a massive overhaul including changes to the parachute system and an overhaul of the entire TPP and FPP animation system.

New weapons will also come to the game throughout the year as well as new vehicles in each new map which will tie in to the setting of the map.

Bluehole has not announced any specific dates for updates but they are expected to release more frequently moving forward to help compete against games like Fortnite.
