Rumors: Black Ops 4 will not contain a story mode and replace it with Battle Royale
Rumors said not long ago that ِActivasion is working on a Remaster version of Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 but the rumors then started to talk that only the story mode will be brought in the game and the exception of the online multiplayer in it. Today, new rumors surfaced, this time with Call of Duty: Black Ops 4, which was announced last month.
According to leaks, Charlie Intel, a specialist in news coverage of the series, said that the game, according to a close source, would not contain a story mode and instead would focus on the online and zombie modes, which have the largest popularity in the series.
This is followed by assurances that the game will contain a gameplay similar to the Battle Royale games, which will take the place of the story mode and according to the leaks, Raven Software will be the one to develop separately, but so far there is no confirmation from the company. After media organizations went on to confirm the authenticity of the rumors, the response was that Activision was not commenting on the rumors and asked to wait until May 17 for full details about the game.
